Title: 2D drawings
Post by: Homer-Jay on August 02, 2011, 06:07:24 AM
i am inclined to think that you cannot create 2D drawings using polyworks as a stand alone. would someone please correct me if i'm wrong. what is the process for getting to a 2D drawing from a model created in polyworks? must you import into cad, and go from there?

If you have current support and you email InnovMetric they will send you the link to download and password for the pr-release. You will have to get a new ImKey for V12 also.

well i emailed them and they sent me the pre-release. yay. i'm sure i'm the only one that didn't know this, but you can do some limited 2D stuff in v11 using cross sections, and dimmensioning them. i suppose it's kind of a moot point now, but thats what i did
